B.Pharm is a Four year Full time Under Graduate Program.

Eligibility

Should have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) Examination with Physics and Chemistry, as compulsory subjects and Biology / Mathematics/Bio Technology/Computer Science and English as subjects of study with at least 50% marks for the general category and 45% marks for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. Those appearing in 10+2 may also apply.

Admission Procedure

B.Pharm
Ist Year The admission to the B.Pharm would be made through the Uttarakhand Technical University Entrance Examination .
The admission to the General seats (50% Uttarakhand seats+35% All India) would be made through State level counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University,Dehradun. The basis of this counseling is the merit based on the rank obtained by the students in Uttarakhand Technical University Entrance Examination(UTUEE).

Incase of any vacant seats, the seats could be filled up by the candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria with minimum 50% marks.

Reservation policy would be applicable as per the State Govt.

15% Management admissions are made directly by the Institute by conducting Institute’s level counselling based on the merit of UTUEE rank.

For admission to the General category seats, Uttarakhand Technical University advertises the counseling schedule in the National dailies like Times of India, Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran etc. Detailed information can also be seen in www.uttara.in.

For Management category admissions, candidates need to register in the Institute latest by 30th June 2008 tentatively. Registration forms can be obtained from our Institute, Unison School of Law,DIT School of Engineering(Greater Noida) and our Delhi Corporate office or could be downloaded from www.dit.edu.in.

The registration fee is Rs 700 which is to be paid in the form of DD favouring DIT payable at Dehradun.

NRI SEATS Out of 15% Management seats 5% seats are reserved for the NRI candidates.NRI seats would be filled up as per the AICTE norms i.e. by the NRI’s who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, as compulsory subjects and Biology / Mathematics/Bio Technology/Computer Science and English as subjects of study from an institute situated outside India which is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities.

B.Pharm IInd Year (LATERAL ENTRY:) SEATS DISTRIBUTION:
10% of the total sanctioned intake would be reserved for the Diploma holders.

ELIGIBILITY:
Candidate should have passed the 2 years of Diploma after 10+2 with minimum of 60% aggregate

The admission to the B.Pharm Second year through lateral entry would be made by the counselling organized by State Counselling Board.

For admission to the lateral entry seats, Uttarakhand Technical University advertises the counselling schedule in the National dailies like Times of India, Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran etc. Detailed information can also be seen in www.uttara.in.
